I think all this hoopla about "putting Christ in Christmas" ought to be countered by returning the winter holiday to its pagan roots and moving Christ's birthday from its current arbitrary date to a new arbitrary date. Keep Santa and the current Spend-a-thon as is, and get rid of all that devisive religious stuff, ya know?

Someday I might bother to learn to put a bunch of links to various web-based essays relavent to my post, as for example ones that talk about pagan roots or the current hoopla. For now, you'll just have to Google them for yourself.
